1. Agreement to Terms
By creating an account or using CartSentry, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you represent an agency or company, you confirm that you have legal authority to bind that entity.
2. Description of Service
CartSentry provides automated synthetic monitoring. We use automated headless browser workers to test public Shopify cart and checkout flows, measure page latencies, and dispatch alerts (via Email, Slack, or WhatsApp) when errors or freezes are detected.
3. Authorized Monitoring
You agree to only monitor store URLs that you own, manage, or have explicit permission to test (such as agency client stores). You agree not to use CartSentry to overload, scrape, or perform denial-of-service tests against any third-party infrastructure.
4. Payments & Merchant of Record
Our order processing and billing are conducted by our online reseller and Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy. Lemon Squeezy handles order queries, billing, and returns. All prices are clearly displayed prior to checkout.
5. Limitation of Liability
CartSentry provides observability on an “as is” basis. While we strive for timely incident dispatch, CartSentry is not liable for lost merchant revenue, lost checkout conversions, or damages caused by third-party payment gateway outages (e.g., Shopify, Stripe, PayPal) or network disruptions.
6. Shopify Trademark Disclaimer
Shopify is a registered trademark of Shopify Inc. CartSentry is an independent monitoring service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Shopify Inc.
